Activities

The Puli excels in many different activities. From protecting the family to herding, from therapy dog visits at the local assisted living center to agility, from taking long walks to competing in the conformation show ring, and much, much more.  Versatility is part of why this breed is so very special.

If you are lucky enough to have a Puli living with you, we highly recommend you make sure he or she has a job.  Whether it’s bringing in the newspaper, having a 5 minute daily training session, visiting people who don’t get to see such a handsome critter very often, or training and competing in competition.  Many of us started with a “pet” Puli as family member, and ended up with a friend who looked forward to every training session and every chance to compete.
