The Book of Titleholders is a Puli Club project on the history of all Pulis in the US who earned titles since the breed was admitted to the AKC Studbook. It has proven a valuable asset to anyone wishing to research pedigrees. We try to have as many pictures as possible with each pedigree in order to provide a visual account as well as written. Copies of the Book are kept in the AKC archives for use of the club in future years and also in the AKC library for use to anyone wishing to visit the library and do research on the breed.
The Book of Titleholders Committee is comprised of:
Sherry Gibson
Jim Moen
At the 2003 Annual Meeting, the membership passed a motion authorizing that future issues of the BOT will be made available on this PCA website. Technical work has been done to produce an online BOT "pilot." This tool takes its input from a pedigree database on the PC and generates web pages that can be viewed online. In 2007, Sherry Gibson volunteered to develop and maintain the pedigree database for PCA. In August, 2007, the Board passed a motion to approve Sherry's proposal, and work is now underway on the real "online BOT."
The BOT issues for 1998 and 1999 are offered on 81/2 X 11 inch pages with color photos. It is also be available on CD and will be kept on CD for club records. This will make reprinting past years easier and also for including corrections or missing pictures. We hope that all will contribute to this project by submitting pictures of your new titleholders.
We have only a limited number of old copies (before 1998). If you are looking to complete your set, please contact Marla Williams about what years are available. Once these are sold out, there are no more and we are unable to have them reprinted.
The form is an Adobe Acrobat .PDF file. If you have trouble accessing this form, you'll need to download a free copy of the Adobe Acrobat Reader.
